St. Patrick's Day Parade 2008
The St. Patrick's Day Parade is usually held in the Town of Christiansted, and it
was again this year. The greatest change was the reviewing stand location. This
year, the judges were set up in Sunday Market Square and reviewed the entries
as they filed by and performed various antics.
For observers near the
Sunday Market Square
on Company Street, it
took a while for the
parade to come down
the street.
Those whose cars were
not moved and were
impeding the parade,
had to redeem their
towed vehicles.
The judges waited
patiently.
St. Croix Majorettes put
on a show with winning
smiles.
