This year marked the first ever Kallaloo/Gumbo Cookoff held at Sylvie's Bar and Restaurant in LaVallee. We arrived late and missed some of the action but what we got to see we share with you.

	The food was down to the last drop when we arrived, even the doggy seemed to be waiting for scraps.

	Most of the crowd was inside knocking back cold ones. Donald of Zizzlers, a new Cajun restaurant in downtown Christiansted, showed off his People's Choice Award.

	A fine and tasty bowl of seafood Kallaloo. Enjoy.
