The Christmas Gala at Botanical Gardens featured ten decorated trees and many other community and youth oriented programs for auction. Some fun vacation packages were also included.

	The evening began with a cocktail hour that was mellifluously lifted by Christmas musical selections.

	Meanwhile, a silent auction took place for other gift items and Second Saturdays - a program for the education of children.

During an intermission, dinner was served. Salad, choice of three entrees, dessert and coffee.

	After dinner, it was time for the auctioning of the trees. Roger W. Morgan was the auctioneer this evening, his fifth year. The auction was lively and went well for the benefit of the Garden.
