Mon Bijou Bypass
The Mon Bijou Bypass was conceived because of a water flow problem in the
MonBijou/Frangipani subdivision. To redirect the flow of water after rainstorms,
a plan was made to divert the water and build a bridge. This project is now
complete and did well in the first big rains.
Looking out over the flood plain at the endangered homes of Frangipani.
And heading back to the second bridge on the Western side of
Frangipani, we traverse the old concrete road.
The end of the concrete road and the beginning of the new road.
Looking over the edge, the new gut is carpeted in groundcover.
